As United Methodists, we celebrate the spiritual journey that has led you to this point! We recognize your Baptism whether by sprinkling, pouring or immersion by water. If you have not accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, it will be an honor to Baptize you. When you commit to joining Westminster UMC you agree to support what Jesus is doing through this church with your prayers, presence, financial gifts, service and witness.
There are several ways to join.
* Transfer of membership from another United Methodist Church - If you are currently a member of another United Methodist Church, you may simply transfer your membership to Westminster UMC.
* Transfer of membership from another denomination - If you are currently a member of another denomination, you may transfer to the United Methodist Church. You will be asked to support the church with your "prayers, presence, gifts and service".
* Reaffirmation of faith - If you have been baptized but have not been active in a church in some time, you may join by reaffirming your faith and promising to support the church with your "prayers, presence, gifts and service".
* Confession/Profession of faith - If you have never been baptized nor made a decision to join a church, you may join by confession of your faith and Christian Baptism.
Once you have decided which option works best for you, you will come before the congregation at one of the worship services on Sunday morning and officially "join". Our members will be thrilled to greet you at the end of the service to welcome you into the Westminster family.
