A "sacrament" is a means of grace - a way that God's grace comes to us.
Holy Communion
At Westminster UMC, we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion at least once a month, on the first Sunday of the month, in both our Contemporary and Traditional Worship Services. All people are invited to experience the mystery of Christ's presence in this meal of reconciliation, celebration and new life. This is the Lord's supper and it is Christ who invites you. As our ritual states, "Christ our Lord invites to His table all who love Him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another."
Baptism
The Sacrament of initiation into the Church, is a living sign of God's grace and love. Baptism is open to people of all ages. The waters of the font welcome and cleanse us, name us and claim us as God's own, and sets us on the path of our faith journey. Please contact the Pastor (713.782.7750) to discuss Baptismal preparation.
